Rizin announces streaming service, Mayweather fight

Japanese mixed martial arts promoter Rizin Fighting Federation announced details of a new direct-to-consumer streaming service, at the same time as revealing an upcoming exhibition match featuring retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather.

At a press conference in Las Vegas this week, Rizin announced the September fight between Mayweather and Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura. The date, venue and rules for the bout are to be confirmed later this month.
