The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has launched an invitation to tender process for its video assistant referee (VAR) services.

A four-season contract, spanning 2023-24 to 2026-27, is on offer with proposals required to cover both men’s and women’s professional competitions. In the case of the women’s top tier, Liga F, the RFEF said implementation of VAR will only be arranged if a majority of clubs request its use.
