Subscription-free streaming platform Recast has announced the launch of a new feature which it claims will provide an alternative to existing online advertising models.

‘Data Profile’ aims to provide fans with complete control over how their personal data is shared with advertisers on Recast, rewarding those who choose to share their data with additional credits to watch content on the platform.
