Ramsamy: South Africa focused on single sport events, not multi-sport Games

South Africa’s major events bidding strategy is now focused on competitions featuring just one sport due to the wider infrastructure requirements for larger events, according to Sam Ramsamy, the honorary president of SASCOC, the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee.
