London’s Queen’s Club tennis venue has partnered with mobile ordering platform Q App to enhance its customer service.
Q App seeks to remove the need for customers to queue by enabling them to browse the full menu, order and pay from their phone using a free iPhone or Android app. The customer is then sent an alert, along with a unique code, when their order is ready for collection via a separate Q App Fast Lane at the designated bar.
The service will launch in the QC Members’ Enclosure at the Aegon Championships in June and will initially be made available to the Queen’s Club Members.
Serge Taborin, Q App chief executive, said: “This is another major stamp of credibility for the Q App vision of minimising queues at major sporting events and we will shortly be announcing a number of further deployments in this space.”
