Premier League clubs ‘calling for £1bn central fund’ for cheaper borrowing

Clubs in the Premier League are calling for the English top-flight to create a central fund worth more than £1bn (€1.2bn/$1.4bn) to deal with their Covid-related liquidity problems and save them having to borrow money from other lenders at exorbitant rates.
