English Premier League football club Newcastle United has signed regional airline Loganair as its latest associate partner.

Loganair will begin featuring on the LED advertising boards at Premier League games for the first time on Saturday, when Chelsea visit St. James’ Park.

Loganair now flies six routes from Newcastle to Aberdeen, Brussels, Bergen, Stavanger, Newquay and Guernsey.

Dale Aitchison, head of commercial at Newcastle United, said: “Loganair is not only showing a huge commitment to Newcastle United but the North East region as a whole and we look forward to working closely with the team to raise awareness of the routes from Newcastle Airport.”

Associate partners sit on the bottom rung of Newcastle’s sponsor portfolio. Loganair joins Stelrad, Energy Impact, LNER, Everyone Active, DFDS, SSD Concerts, Total Reclaim, Tomahawk Steakhouse, Intu and Perfect Image.
