Nebraska, Playfly Sports strike $300m, 15-year multimedia rights deal

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has announced a new multimedia rights deal with Pennsylvania-based sports marketing and media company Playfly Sports, which is poised to generate more than $300m (€308m) over 15 years for the college's athletic department.

One of most lucrative multimedia rights deals in college sports, the agreement includes $273.6m of guaranteed payments over the life of the contract, which runs through June 2038. It officially starts on October 1.
