NBA appoints Slaton Brown as chief diversity officer

The National Basketball Association has appointed Lesley Slaton Brown as the organization’s new chief diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) officer.

Slaton Brown arrives from Hewlett-Packard, where she worked as vice president and chief diversity officer. She will start her new position on February 1 and report to NBA president of administration Kyle Cavanaugh.
