Match IQ to open New York office

Match IQ, a sports event and consulting agency, has announced it will open an office in New York City, which will be run by former New York Red Bulls and New York Cosmos executive Erik Stover.

Match IQ, a subsidiary of German media group Constantin Medien AG, has helped organize tours to the United States for numerous European soccer teams, including Ajax, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfL Wolfsburg and FC St. Pauli. It is also the official partner of the Florida Cup.

It was also announced that Match IQ Americas – as the new entity is called – has entered into a multi-year co-operation agreement with Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04.
