Former National Basketball Association star Earvin "Magic" Johnson is looking to buy a stake in the National Football League's Las Vegas Raiders, according to a report in Semafor, in a move that, if successful, would further expand the legend's already-sizable sports team portfolio
The report states that in recent weeks, Johnson has been working to assemble a team of investors to purchase a minority piece of the Raiders, which are currently owned by Mark Davis, the son of the late Raiders owner Al Davis. There has been no formal word, however, that the younger Davis is shopping a piece of the team.
