LFP suspends Match TV’s Ligue 1 rights deal

France’s Professional Football League (LFP) has suspended its contract with Match TV, the organisation’s media rights partner in Russia.

The LFP made the announcement in a brief statement on Friday evening, stating that Match TV’s deal for coverage of Ligue 1, the top division of French club football, would be suspended with immediate effect.
