Infantino confirms re-election plan, Fifa betters financial projections

Fifa has today (Wednesday) reported on a near 10 per cent uplift on its projected revenue for the full-cycle heading into the 2018 World Cup, as president Gianni Infantino confirmed he will stand for re-election after claiming he has turned around world football’s governing body from a situation in which it was “clinically dead” as an organisation.
