IHF’s Moustafa re-elected, convicted Sheikh Ahmad retains Asian presidency

Hassan Moustafa has secured a sixth term as president of the International Handball Federation, while Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahad al-Sabah has been re-elected as president of the Asian Handball Federation despite his recent conviction.

The IHF held its first-ever virtual Ordinary Congress on Saturday, with Moustafa’s long-running hold on power having been set up to continue as he went in to the elections unopposed.
