HyperX, one of the world’s biggest PC peripheral makers, has struck new esports sponsorship deals in the UK and US.

HyperX will become a jersey sponsor of two teams in the UK managed by ReKTGlobal: the London Royal Ravens and Rogue.

Under the London Royal Ravens deal, the Call of Duty team will be ‘Powered by HyperX’ and provided with a training facility stocked with HyperX products.

The two Rogue teams are Rogue’s Rainbow Six Pro team and Rogue’s Rocket League team.

Amish Shah, ReKTGlobal founder, said: “HyperX has been a mainstay in competitive PC gaming for as long as I can remember. It’s an honour to have their logo on our jerseys, and their gear powering our champions’ play.”

Meanwhile, in the US, HyperX has become the Official Presenter of the Allied Esports Online Tournament schedule and broadcasts.

Allied Esports Online Tournaments Presented by HyperX are a response to the shutdown of venue-based events owned by Allied Esports due to Covid-19. The online competitions are open to all levels of play and offer cash and/or HyperX products in prizes for each competition.

In 2018, Allied Esports and HyperX signed a naming rights deal spanning four properties across two continents: the HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas, the HyperX Esports Trucks in North American and Europe, and the HyperX Esports Studio in Hamburg, Germany.

Following the suspension of its community events at HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas on March 14 because of Covid-19, Allied Esports moved its  weekly competitions online and added new games to the schedule featuring streamed broadcasts of each event, which will now be simulcast on Twitch.

“The current landscape has required us to come together as a team, pivot quickly and lean on trusted partners,” said Jud Hannigan, chief executive of Allied Esports. “Our relationship with HyperX continues to grow and we’re fortunate to be able to work alongside them to enhance this experience for our existing community members and the fans we will engage for the first time through this new offering.”

HyperX will work with Allied Esports to drive participation to the online tournaments through social media and other marketing promotions.
