France presents ‘risk-free’ bid for 2030 Winter Olympics

French authorities have presented their vision of a compact 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, with David Lappartient, president of the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF), stating the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is “not taking any risks with us”.
