Foxtel, Seven, Telstra renew AFL rights in record A$4.5bn, seven-year deal

Pay-television broadcaster Foxtel, commercial broadcaster Seven and telco Telstra have renewed their domestic media rights for the Australian Football League in a seven-year deal covering 2025 to 2031.

The new deal is worth a total of A$4.5bn ($3.05bn/€3.06bn) over the seven years, equivalent to A$643m per year. Local media reported it as the 'biggest sports broadcast rights deal in Australian history'.
