Formula 1 has announced today (Wednesday) that Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Qatar, USA and Brazil will host sprint races in 2023, while the motor-racing series is exploring the possibility of a more regionalised calendar as part of plans to reach net zero carbon by 2030.
The FIA recently gave F1 the green light to double the number of sprint races from three to six next year. Austria and Brazil hosted sprint races this year and will do so again in 2023.
