The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has acquired the Freeride World Tour (FWT), the annual tour of events featuring top freeskiers and snowboard freeriders.
The deal with Nicolas Hale-Woods, the FWT founder, allows FIS to integrate the property into its structure in time for the 2022-23 season and focus on the marketing and governance of the series.
