FIGC president Gravina proposes merger of Serie B and C

Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), has proposed that Serie B and Serie C, the second and third tiers of club football in the country, are merged from 2024-25.

Gravina has also suggested that Serie C Elite and Serie D Elite leagues be introduced from the 2021-22 campaign to bridge the gap between the current third and fourth divisions.
