F1 holds ‘substantive’ talks with Amazon over streaming deal

Chase Carey, the outgoing chief executive of Formula 1, has revealed that the motor-racing series has held talks with retail giant Amazon over a potential streaming rights deal.

Carey told the Financial Times that he had held “substantive discussions” with Amazon and other digital platforms regarding future rights deals as F1 looks to further expand its broadcast reach.
