Turkish financial services company DenizBank has signed a global partnership agreement with the Euroleague Basketball governing body.

The deal begins with the forthcoming 2019-20 season and will run for three years, with an option for three more.

DenizBank will serve as a global partner of the governing body and its EuroLeague and EuroCup club competitions.

DenizBank will launch a season-long advertising campaign featuring Jan Vesely and Kostas Sloukas of Fenerbahçe Beko Istanbul, Krunoslav Simon and Bryant Dunston of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Ante Tomic of FC Barcelona, Sergio Rodriguez of AX Armani Exchange Milan, and Will Clyburn of CSKA.

DenizBank counts Germany among its international markets and has 16 branches in major cities across the country. A third of those are in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, where the 2019-20 EuroLeague Final Four will be held when Cologne plays host.

Euroleague Basketball’s most lucrative sponsorship deal remains its naming rights agreement with Turkish Airlines. Beneath that sit the Premium Partners and then the pool of Official Partners, which now includes DenizBank.

The deal with DenizBank comes after the Turkish division of Chinese IT and technology company Lenovo last week agreed a deal to sponsor the EuroLeague and EuroCup competitions for the 2019-20 season.

Lenovo will serve as the regional sponsor for all games played by Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul in the Euroleague, and those of Galatasaray Doga Sigorta, Darussafaka Tekfen and Tofas Bursa in the EuroCup.
