ESPN picks up NRL rights across Africa

International sports broadcaster ESPN has acquired rights in Africa to the NRL Australian rugby league competition.

Disney-owned ESPN will hold rights to the 2021 NRL season, which got underway yesterday (Thursday). Live coverage is airing on the ESPN and ESPN2 channels across Africa.
