ESPN lands AFC rights in Latin America, Central America and Caribbean

The Asian Football Confederation has announced international sports broadcaster ESPN as its new rights-holder in Latin America, Central America, and non-exclusively in the Caribbean, for AFC competitions covering the 2021 to 2024 cycle.

The agreement includes all major AFC national team and club competitions, including but not limited to the Asian Qualifiers for the 2022 Fifa World Cup, the 2023 Asian Cup in China, the Champions League and AFC Cup from the 2021 season, the 2022 Women’s Asian Cup in India, and the Women’s Olympic qualifying tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
