Dubai to host 2025 Global Esports Games

The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has awarded Dubai the hosting rights for the 2025 edition of its flagship event, the Global Esports Games.

The GEF unveiled the United Arab Emirates as one of three countries to host the Global Esports Games in December last year, revealing that China would stage the Games in 2024, followed by the UAE in 2025 and the US in 2026. Singapore hosted the inaugural edition in 2021, Istanbul will stage the second in December, while Riyadh will host the 2023 event.
