Tottenham Hotspur and England footballer Dele Alli has appointed Base Soccer Agency, a division of global sports agency CAA Sports, for on-pitch representation.

CAA Sports and Base Soccer Agency will work together to create opportunities for Alli across all areas of his career. Harry Hickford will remain Alli’s agent and has joined the Base team.

CAA Sports acquired Base Soccer Agency earlier in the year. Base is a full-service football agency and currently deals with Premier League players such as Kyle Walker, Fred, James Maddison and Davinson Sanchez, as well as interim Arsenal manager Freddie Ljungberg and Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti. It also represents England women’s internationals Fran Kirby and Georgia Stanway.

Base is led by founder Leon Angel and player agent Frank Trimboli. It currently has 60 employees headquartered in London and is supported by consultant offices in Europe, South America, Australia, Asia and North America.

Alli signed with CAA Sports and Polaris Sports for commercial representation in 2017. The 23-year-old currently holds endorsement deals with Adidas, boohooMAN, BT Sport, Hyper X, Honor, Lynx and Secretlab.

Hickford said: “It’s key to provide athletes as much support on and off the field as possible. CAA Sports have been great to work with for the past two years and have produced many opportunities for Dele off the field.

“Its acquisition of Base Soccer will add the same level of support and professionalism with on field contracts. Both CAA Sports and Base Soccer are extremely professional and are equipped to represent players of Dele’s calibre.”
