Weibo has agreed a deal to become an official social media platform of the Chinese Super League.

The platform will distribute video content including match highlights, live streams of press conferences, and discussion programmes featuring players and journalists, as well as other types of content such as match statistics. It will also facilitate interaction between fans, clubs and players. All 18 CSL clubs have official accounts on the platform and around half of CSL players are said to be active on it too.
