Carlsson to step down as IBU secretary general, bids submitted for 2027 Worlds

Niklas Carlsson is stepping down from his position as secretary general of the International Biathlon Union (IBU), while the governing body has received bids from Finland and Estonia for its 2027 World Championships.

Carlsson, who has held the role since September 2019, will continue to support the IBU until the end of September before stepping down.
