Bundesliga International, the global rights sales arm of the German Bundesliga, is moving closer to re-establishing live coverage in the Middle East and North Africa following the expiry of its deal with pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports at the end of the 2019-20 season.
The German top flight remains without a broadcast deal in a region shorn of competition but talks are being held to put in place coverage soon, even if just in the short term. The new Bundesliga season began last weekend but there was no live coverage in the Mena region.
