Bridgestone drops DeChambeau ahead of Open Championship

American golfer Bryson DeChambeau has lost a contract with sports equipment company Bridgestone Golf ahead of this week's Open Championship in Scotland, following his move to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series.

DeChambeau signed with Bridgestone when he turned professional in 2016 and renewed his partnership with the company in 2020. He also won the 2020 US Open using a Bridgestone ball.
