Betfred extends backing of PDC’s World Matchplay

Gambling firm Betfred has renewed its title sponsorship of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Matchplay darts tournament until 2025.

The extension was announced yesterday (Sunday) ahead of the final of the 2022 tournament, which saw Michael van Gerwen defeat Gerwyn Price to claim his third World Matchplay title.
