Ascot Racecourse has become the latest venue to join Oak View Group’s International Venue Alliance, with a focus on attracting international sponsors to the horse racing track.
OVG, a venue development, advisory and investment company, set up the International Venue Alliance earlier this year as a global counterpart to its US-based Arena and Stadium Alliance. Ascot becomes the second iconic racing venue to become a member of the venture, following Silverstone, the home of Formula 1's British Grand Prix. It is the third UK-based member of the International Alliance and fourth overall, with the NEC Group and Germany-based D.Live venues the other two members.
