Angel City FC partners with GoBubble to tackle online abuse and harassment

National Women’s Soccer League team Angel City Football Club has partnered with safety tech company GoBubble in an effort to protect the team’s social media feeds from online abuse.

Angel City FC, a 2022 Los Angeles-based expansion team in the NWSL, is the first professional sports team in the United States to partner with GoBubble. The partnership will help protect the team’s social media channels from online bullying, including abusive, racist, or derogatory language, according to a GoBubble press release. The club has implemented the tool across its Twitter and Instagram accounts and allows its staff to use it for free.
