The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has set out a new strategic roadmap for the AIFF to become a new powerhouse of the Asian game by 2047 by focusing on issues such as commercial development, women’s football and infrastructure.
The target year for ‘Vision 2047’ has been chosen as it marks India’s centenary year of independence. The long-term plan has been drawn up after the AIFF last month decided to drop its bid for the 2027 Asian Cup as part of a strategic focus to develop the domestic game.
