Indian conglomerate Adani Group has acquired a franchise in the new UAE T20 League cricket competition.
The Ahmedabad-based group owns the Gujarat Giants franchises in the Pro Kabaddi League and Big Bout Boxing League and unsuccessfully bid for an Indian Premier League in a fiercely contested auction last year.
