Cities cleared for final run at 2024 Olympics, Bach calls for change to bidding system

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today (Thursday) cleared the three remaining candidate cities for the 2024 summer Olympic and Paralympic Games to progress to the final stage of the bidding process, as president Thomas Bach called for reform of the system to avoid creating too many “losers”.
