Women’s national team calls off strike after Canada Soccer’s legal threat

Canada's women's national team will take part in the forthcoming SheBelieves Cup tournament after the threat of legal action by Canada Soccer forced the players to drop a planned strike.

On Friday, the players had released a statement saying that the federation was not properly supporting the team, five months from the start of the Fifa Women's World Cup.
