Wolves owner Fosun acquires Chinese esports team Chongqing QGhappy

English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers has entered Asian esports tournament the King Pro League after the club’s owner, Chinese conglomerate Fosun Sports, acquired Chinese esports team Chongqing QGhappy.

Following the acquisition, the team will continue to be the home team for China’s southwest region of Chongqing but will compete under the new name of Chongqing Wolves. The club will become the first football club to participate in the Honor of Kings Pro League.
