Team SoloMid to build $13m esports training center in Los Angeles

Professional esports organization Team SoloMid (TSM) has announced it will build a $13m, 25,000-square-foot training centre in the Playa Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

TSM has competitive esports teams playing League of Legends, Fortnite, Apex Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League among others.

According to the Los Angeles Times, TSM players and staff are currently spread out across the US and Europe. This facility will now bring them all together and provide them with a first-class training environment.

The venue will be the largest esports training facility in North America when it opens and include gaming rooms, streaming rooms, a fitness centre and a wellness centre.
