Formula 1 outfit Williams Racing has today (Friday) announced that it has been acquired by US-based private investment firm Dorilton Capital.

The acquisition concludes a strategic review process launched by Williams in May to explore the partial or full sale of the team. Dorilton Capital, which Williams said is known for its “long-term approach to investment”, will focus on restoring the competitiveness of the team.
