Campeonato Brasileiro Série A football club Vasco da Gama has signed a shirt sponsorship deal with department store chain Havan and is reportedly set to announce a kit supplier deal with Italian sportswear manufacturer Kappa.

Havan will benefit from exposure on the sleeve of Vasco’s shirts for the duration of 2020. The agreement covers the club’s U20 side as well as the first team.

Havan, which has a presence in more than 150 cities across Brazil, joins BMG, Azeite Royal, Netbet, TIM and PES 2020 as Vasco shirt sponsors for the 2020 season.

Meanwhile, Vasco has confirmed that its kit supplier deal with Italian sportswear company Diadora has been terminated. Diadora first partnered with the club in January 2018 and will continue to provide kit until the end of this year’s Campeonato Carioca state championship.

Vasco said an announcement would be made on Diadora’s replacement shortly and, according to the Máquina do Esporte website, the club has lined up fellow Italian brand Kappa as its next kit supplier.

Vasco’s deal with Diadora had been due to run until December 2020 and the club expressed its thanks to the company in a statement released yesterday (Thursday).

Kappa already provides kit for fellow Série A team Botafogo.
