Cámara Argentina de Internet (Cabase), an entity which represents companies and organisations from across the country’s internet ecosystem, has filed a complaint against subscription broadcaster TyC Sports for its failure to provide access to the ongoing 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Cabase has filed its complaint with regulator Comisión Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia (CNDC), alleging that TyC, which holds rights to the tournament in Qatar, has acted to block access to World Cup coverage for companies which provide pay-television services through Cabase’s content hub.
