TVP keen to keep hold of Ekstraklasa, Champions League rights

Polish public broadcaster TVP remains in talks with pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus about sublicensing rights to Poland’s Ekstraklasa from next season onwards and is keen to tie down an agreement.

Canal Plus recently retained its domestic rights to the Polish top flight for another four seasons in a deal worth around PLN325m (€69.3m/$73m) per season (including production costs).
