Sports sponsorship valuation agency Turnstile has partnered with PTI Smarter Venues to build up its data-led model for pricing sponsorship and media assets.
Turnstile determines market value for sponsorship inventory for a portfolio of sporting properties including Manchester City, Formula 1 and World Rugby.
PTI works with clubs and venues to commercialise digital advertisement rights. The agency is the official strategy advisory partner to Premier League club Norwich City. Other clients include golf’s European Tour, Irish provincial rugby club Connacht Rugby and Championship football club Nottingham Forest.
Rob Mills, chief executive of Turnstile, said the new collaboration aims to change the way club digital media assets are commercialised. “PTI’s ambition to build credible and transparent pricing metrics for their clients aligns directly with Turnstile’s ambition to build more rigour into the pricing of sport and entertainment partnerships.”
PTI Smarter Venues was rebranded from PTI Consulting through an agreement with stadium, digital, media and advertising specialist Smarter Venues in November.
