Sportway, the Sweden-based automated production and live streaming firm, is to merge with Norwegian streaming platform and production company MyGame Group in a bid to establish a “dominant role” in Europe’s AI sports production and streaming sector.
The merged entity, Sportway Media Group AB, will house team sports broadcast rights in the Nordic countries and the Czech Republic. The company is equipped with AI cameras installed in over 500 sports arenas and claims to have over 3,000 new installations in the pipeline.
