Local and international sports bodies have welcomed the easing of Covid-19 restrictions in New Zealand after it was announced that full crowds will be permitted out outdoor events from tomorrow (Saturday).
The New Zealand government had limited crowds to 100 people while the country grappled with its most severe wave of infections since the beginning of the pandemic but the cap has now been lifted as cases begin to fall.
