Pay-television broadcaster Sky is set to agree a rights deal in the UK for the US Open, rekindling its association with the tennis grand slam, according to The Times.
The UK newspaper said that while the United States Tennis Association, which runs the US Open, is yet to finalise the deal with Sky it has informed current rights-holder, streaming service Amazon Prime Video, that its contract will not be extended beyond this year’s tournament.
