Premiership Rugby extends freeze on relegation, will expand to 14 clubs from 2022

The Rugby Football Union Council has voted to extend the freeze on relegation from the Premiership and second-tier Championship for a further two seasons, a move which will see England's top rugby union division grow to 14 teams from the start of the 2022-23 campaign.
