The organising committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games has announced that 3.25 million tickets have been sold during the first phase, a record for a sporting event in France.

The tickets have been sold in less than three weeks, with Paris 2024 to open the second sales phase on March 15 to coincide with the 500-day countdown to the event. This phase will include individual tickets for some of the most sought-after sessions at the Games.
