OneFootball recruits Beer as SVP, platform and content

Media company and direct-to-consumer streaming platform OneFootball has recruited experienced media specialist Rhys Beer to the role of senior vice-president of platform and content.

Beer recently left his position as Meta’s head of content strategy and programming, international. Beer, who joined Facebook in 2018 as sports programming lead in the EMEA region, initiated his departure before news of widespread job cuts at Meta was communicated in November.
